Lately We're Running Out Of Time, Aren't We?

Credit : geekinthepurple.

There was one time somewhere when I heard this song played in a shop ... when I realised it was Jason's voice I tried to recall the title of the song but I could not as I was not familiar with it at that time.

Then much later on Youtube I saw the video where he was busking in France, and I went .. "aaahhh, that's the one... Clockwatching!"

I think he looks really good in this video. Smokinn' .. :)

"Lady, dreamer, you might be the soundest sleeper,
Tonight, sleep tight, and build your nest upon my shoulder"

Who Am I To Say, This Situation Isn't Great?

This song is a firm favourite (but of course).

Credit : cuique. A great live album.

I was going through some videos today by other singers, and there was one comment on how listening to certain artistes give you goosebumps, while others don't. Some songs ... touch you. (Does that even sound right?) A frequency theory?

What's that called - Having soul? Soulful? Full of feelings?

Jason is one of them rare ones. I am not able to describe clearly in words how his songs make me feel. They just ... speak to me. The words, the melody, the performance, everything.

I don't know why and how others can compare him to John Mayer or Jack Johnson or whomever. Oh, I should stop trying to defend him. He does not need me to do that. His music will stand for itself, speak for itself.

To each his own. Whatever moves you, baby. For me it's him.

'Jason, Thank You Very Much for Jumping In Here'

Glad I stayed up last night entertaining my thoughts, cos I saw Jason perform (with Colbie) on Letterman!

Wow. I so underestimated Astro... I thought they'd screen it here in a few weeks time, looks like it's within the same week (22nd there, 24th here). Must remember this next time.

"Through the years we all will be together,
if the fates allow....
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough..."

Jason mentioned in his blog that Colbie called him just that morning (since he was in NYC) to fill in as her regular guitarist couldn't make it for the show. How cool is that? What a good friend Jason is :) Colbie must love him to bits, as we do. And she told him to take the third verse.

Love their rendition of HYAMLC; not crazy with his hair/fringe like that yet still cute though; and the shirt! Oh my, this is my first time seeing him perform in such a proper looking buttoned up long sleeved shirt.

I just noticed that Colbie kept looking at Jason a few times throughout the song but our man has his eyes closed too intensely concentrating to realise. Haha! By the way, if you listen carefully Colbie sings 'christmas' as if it were 'christmice'. Style? Still lovely singing though.

And thank you Mr Cameraman for focusing on our man and his guitar.

Every Sprout is a Route

My Wonderwall.

Listening to and watching JM at the Highline Ballroom NYC, rap-improv for The Remedy :

Well in the not too distant time ahead
There is a way to get it done without leaving your bed
There is a way to go to work by using your head
It is a quirk of the network of mind's intent
Just visualize anything that you want
Close your eyes, bring it up to the front
And realise every sprout is a route
To the power of how
The power of now
The power to me is like my own preamble
I'm known to ramble wearing only my sandals
My declaration is warm so handle it
Desperation is a mambo-dancing....!

Go On Be Happy Now, Please Be Happy Now...

Another one from Live on Earth - The Boy is Gone - thanks to Razindiego:

I love the backdrop for his stage. Is that the Japanese tidal wave painting?

And Tuty found the DVD-CD combo for Live on Earth! Woohoo!!!!! *jumps and cartwheels*

Altogether now : "Oh the wait was so worth it..."

And The Bright Lights Turn to Night ...

Ha ha ha!

Jason's latest blogpost made me laugh.

The boy is so cute, and most importantly, so talented on the guitar ukelele. I am sure he'll work on the singing as he grows :)

And today, sailing through Youtube, I found this:

This guy - Sam Tsui - has got very healthy lungs.

All I Want for Christmas

Santa Baby,

Since I have been really really good this year, can you get Jason to come back for concerts in this part of the world some time next year? Soon?

I am sure I am not the only one waiting.

Thank you.

p.s. Oh, and world peace, no war, green the planet and all that, too.

From JM's FF5000.

Merry Christmas,

'...Getting High on Heavenly Breezes...'

Today's playlist, dedicated to Superfriend :

Thanks to : Yorrii on Youtube.

Sometimes the sun shines on other people's houses and not mine
somedays the clouds paint the sky in a way
that takes away my summer time

somehow the sun shines upon you while i struggle to get mine
well if there's a light in everybody so send out your ray of sunshine

i wanna walk the same roads as everybody else
through the trees and past the gates
getting high on heavenly breezes
making new friends along the way

and i wont ask much of nobody
I'm just here to sing along
and make my mistakes look gracious
and learn some lessons from my wrongs

But sometimes the sun shines on other people's houses and not mine
Somedays the clouds paint the sky all grey and
it takes away my summer time

Somehow the sun shines upon you while i struggle to get mine
a little light never hurt nobody, send out your ray of sunshine

oh if this little light of mine combined with yours today
how many watts could we illuminate
how many villages could we save
well my umbrella's tired of the weather wearing me down
well look at me now

Well you sure look as good as your outlook
would you mind if i took some time
to soak up your life, your beautiful light, you've got a paradise inside

I get hungry for love and thirsty for life
and much too full on the pain
when i look at the sky to help me
and sometimes it looks like rain

As the sun shines on other people's houses and not mine
And the sky paints the clouds in a way
that takes away my summer time

somehow the sun keeps shining upon you while i'm kindly standing by
if there's a light in everybody, send out your ray of sunshine

you're undeniably warm, you're cerulean
you're perfect in desire
Won't you hang around?

so the sun it can shine on me
and the clouds they can all roll away
and the sky can become our possibility
if there's a light in everybody, send out your ray of sunshine

Calm down
Deep breaths
And get yourself dressed instead
Of running around
And pulling all your threads and
Breaking yourself up

Hang on

Stay strong

Everything will be fine
Everything in no time at all
Hearts will hold...

"...All We Have To Do Is Feel..."

Found this on Youtube recently, posted by Yorrii. Am not sure where and when Jason performed this, it's from the 'Homemade CD' after WFMRTC.

Listen to that voice. Unmistakably Mraz, though he does sound a little bit different now right? Of course, the boy has grown up :). Love the way he scats over the music...

And the picture; those eyes. He's sooooooo adorable!

I would like to dedicate this song to ... you know who you are.

Courtesy : Yorrii.

One drop going down,
And then you slipped away,
One stop out of town,
We'll meet again someday.

Cause I,
I believe in love,
I still wish on,
Stars above,
I believe in love songs,
Yes, I think that they are real,
All you have to do is feel.

A chance missed for getting kissed,
I think there's so much more than this,
I will,
Guess I'll have to hold my breath and say..

That I,
I believe in fate,
I believe in good things coming to those who wait,
Although I'm anticipating late,
And all my hopes were beginning to fade,
When you will me,
How will we be,

This is only one,
Temporary find,
I'm sure before too long,
You will change your mind,
One find,
And this is only one of a many find,
I'm sure before too long,
You're gonna make up your mind.

I know all about it,
Well, I thought I did,
So I wrote a song about it,
And it goes a little something like this.

See now I,
I believe in love songs,
Yes, I think that they are real,
All you have to do, do, do,
You tell me,
All I have to do,
Say,
All we have to do,
Is feel,
Is feel,
Feel, so right,
Is feel,
Feel, so nice,
And this is so nice,
And this is so right,
And this is so right,
Right, find, and fine by me.

Elbows and Exposed Knees ...

This has been playing on my mind for days on end and I'm humming it every now and then, and hey look what Razindiego just posted!

'face to palm
tear to tear
and mouth to tongue
heart to ground
heart to ground
put your heart to the ground
well see I am in love,
oh heart, heart, put your heart on the ground
hear my name
to say I am in love'

Is this new from Jason? My first time hearing this.

Pic/Youtube Credit : razindiego.

Anyway, his official site says that The Beautiful Mess - Live On Earth will be released in Malaysia on November 10th too! Yeay! My 'gamble' to wait paid off. Now I wonder if it's reasonably priced and most importantly, is available in KK. Otherwise I've got to wait till my next KL trip or harrass someone to get it for me.

First Place

From the San Diego Magazine, Jason's interview with Tom Blair :

TB: When we were shooting cover photos for this month’s magazine, there was a fine-looking young lady who accompanied you. The daughter, I happen to know, of local baseball legend Kurt Bevacqua and formerSan Diego Magazine cover model Carrie Bevacqua. Is Tawney Bevacqua “just a friend,” as they say, or is something more going on there?

JM: Tawney’s been a close friend for two years. Because I travel so much, we’re not making any serious commitments. But if I were to settle down, she’s one of the first places I would look.

'But if I were to settle down, she's one of the first places I would look'

How sweet!

Who's That Girl?

Pic from JM, FF5000.

Ooh ooh ooh!

Is that his girl?

The one he calls 'constant friend'?

Tawney Bevacqua. She's gorgeous. And I'm envious. For one second.

Haha.

What's a constant friend, anyway? I asked Thesaurus.com and they say this :

Definition:faithful friend

Synonyms:

best friend, constant friend, devoted friend, *fidus Achates, good friend, great friend, staunch friend, trusted friend, trusty friend

(*What's fidus Achates? Is that Latin? Greek?)

Jason : you and your terminology. Must have learnt them while taking your BA in Euphoria from Cannabis College.

I want to be your constant friend, too then :)

And I love your hair for once :P

Me Want Some Avocados, Please

Jason had this tee on offer the other day and I missed it. Dang!

Green ladies cut avocado tee. I logged on earlier on the 9th, then because later my internet was down I forgot all about it.

It was on offer for $10, only for 10th of Oct special thingy.

And speaking of avocados, they're so priceyyyy nowadays.

Last Sunday at the local farmer's market, it was RM9 per kilo! *gulp* Used to be half the price.

Difficult to find too, must be out of season.

Heading to Indo, hopefully they'll have avocados.

My Latest Beautiful Mess

It would be almost sacrilegious if I didn't share this video I got from seowens1219 on Youtube. Thank so much, fellow Mrazian! The quality is very good.

Performed on 30 September, 2009 at GM Place, Vancouver BC.

I can stare at his face for hours and study his microexpressions. This is what happens when you watch too much Lie To Me.

Don't quite fancy this look though, a little bit scruffier don't you think (we still love him anyway). Look at his hair, the man needs a hairbrush. What's that necklace he consciously tucks inside his tee; he has more accessories than usual; is this his most recent look on the road?

And you lucky South American fans; you will be enjoying him live soon!

You can sing now : "Oh the wait was so worth it....."

The Love of A Lifetime Since We Were Elementary..

Hey it's been a while indeed, not a lifetime though :)

Hankering to see Jason perform (when are you coming back to this part of the world, J?) so I am drifting in my imagination of Jason's performance at Farm Aid, amongst others.

And guess who comes to the rescue? Youtube of course!

I see a few videos just posted in the last 10 hours or so. I am sure there'll be more to come. Thank you to all you lovely people for generously sharing the Mraz experience with the whole world.

I feel much better already :)

For the time being, here's another of J's gems from his earlier years, circa 2001(?)

Oh Yes; It Is A Beautiful Mess

What do you think of Jason's cover for Beautiful Mess?

Methinks it's a bit too colourful, too much, too many .. things.

I think the idea was too show how much stuff Jason has in his head and hidden under that hat and this is what happens if he were to get lobotomised; yes? Is that how they cut up your head for a lobotomy? I wouldn't know.

Would very much prefer a simpler cover like WSWDWST's. But this not about me so we'll be happy with this, thank you very much.

And please please please have it in Malaysia real soon.

This was the first 'A Beautiful Mess' video that I watched on Youtube.

He's Teasing Me..

I am undecided.

I don't know whether I should be placing a pre-order for Jason's new CD/DVD Beautiful Mess - Live on Earth that's to be released in early November. It costs $18.99 excluding p&p.

Usually it will be a no brainer, I won't even need to think cos I'd decide and place an order right away as I did with his Live in UK CD some months back.

Now I have to think wisely as I need to be in control of my finances. Trying to rid myself of credit card debts, and am distancing myself from online purchases.

Yes, it may not be much - dare I even put a price on my Mraz?

I am just hoping it'll be available in Malaysia too; I managed to get the Limited Edition WSWDWST for only RM40 here.

Call me scrooge, even Mraz has to take a backseat this time. I still love you J!

Mraz for Prez?

Jason's 12 Questions post today may be the most complicated yet for me to understand.

Or, did my brain just stop functioning? I need to take an aspirin and re-read it again later.

Still can't figure out this twitter / tweet thingy so my questions are still here with me. Gah.

I need to look for that pink hula hoop so I've got something new to do over this holiday weekend. Can't wait for November for his new stuff, Beautiful Mess (that's me me me!)

Enjoy 'Happy Ending' from our lovely man Mraz:

So today in his blog, Jason reveals that he is an 'unbent elbow-lips-shoulder-pelvic bone' kind of guy. His favourite parts of the female body. Haha.

Hey Hey Hey Baby Baby I Try To Find....

Why do you build me up, Buttercup, baby
Just to let me down, and mess me around
And then worst of all, you never call, baby
When you say you will, but I love you still

I need you more than anyone, darlin'
You know that I have from the start
So build me up Buttercup, don't break my heart
"I'll be over at ten", you told me time and again
But you're late, I wait around and then
I went to the door, I can't take any more
It's not you, you let me down again
Hey, hey, hey,
Baby, baby, I try to find
A little time and I'll make you mine
I'll be home
I'll be beside the phone waiting for you
Ooo-oo-ooo, ooo-oo-ooo
Why do you build me up, Buttercup, baby
Just to let me down, and mess me around
And then worst of all you never call, baby
When you say you will, and I love you still
I need you more than anyone, darlin'
You know that I have from the start
So build me up Buttercup, don't break my heart

I need you (I need you) more than anyone, darlin'
You know that I have from the start
So build me up (build me up) Buttercup, don't break my heart....

A Beautiful Mess

My absolute, favourite Mraz song :

I call this 'the orchestra version', performed at the Nobel Peace Prize concert in Oslo, Dec 2008.

I saw this on TV last week, however they only showed Jason singing I'm Yours? He was unwell and didn't go onstage for the finale, Toca was there though.

Simply love love love this song. Because it's so ... me.

"A Beautiful Mess"

You've got the best of both worlds
You're the kind of girl who can take down a man,
And lift him back up again
You are strong but you're needy,
Humble but you're greedy
And based on your body language,
And shoddy cursive I've been reading
Your style is quite selective,
though your mind is rather reckless
Well I guess it just suggests
that this is just what happiness is

Hey, what a beautiful mess this is
It's like picking up trash in dresses

Well it kind of hurts when the kind of words you write
Kind of turn themselves into knives
And don't mind my nerve you could call it fiction
But I like being submerged in your contradictions dear
'Cause here we are, here we are

Although you were biased I love your advice
Your comebacks they're quick
And probably have to do with your insecurities
There's no shame in being crazy,
Depending on how you take these
Words I'm paraphrasing this relationship we're staging

And what a beautiful mess, yes it is
It's like picking up trash in dresses

Well it kind of hurts when the kind of words you say
Kind of turn themselves into blades
And the kind and courteous is a life I've heard
But it's nice to say that we played in the dirt
Cause here, here we are, Here we are
Here we are [x7]

We're still here
What a beautiful mess, this is
It's like taking a guess when the only answer is "Yes"

Through, timeless words and priceless pictures
We'll fly like birds not of this earth

And tides they turn and hearts disfigure
But that's no concern when we're wounded together

And we, tore our dresses and stained our shirts
But it's nice today
Oh, the wait it was so worth it...

Shower Me With Your (Mraz) Love

Do you know or remember this song by Surface?

I do. Imagine Jason singing that when he was much younger. Look what I found :) isn't he just sooo adorable?

Jason Mraz before he was famous singing at Chickahominy Middle School 1991 in the 8th grade.
Video Credit : busymouthheidi via Youtube.

I agree with one of the commenters, you can hear the now-oh-so-familiar inflections in his voice even then.

Awww. So cute! This can be my lullaby now.

Sending Out A Ray of Sunshine..

Hankering for new stuff from Jason? I am.

Not that I am bored with the current ones. Far from it.

I am just wondering what kind of songs will be in his next album. Cos his inspirations will be different; being the much adored, world-famous, Grammy-nominated, record-breaker, superawesome, sensitive singer-songwriter (is that too much?) that he is now compared to two years ago.

These are new-ish, or at least not in the albums, I may be wrong. They've been performed in his concerts though. Videos from Blacky785, Yorrii, MRAZorback1 and geekinthepurple respectively - thanks for sharing!

Enjoy the Mraz goodness :)

Greetings, Earthlings!

Eeek! Another long break. No excuses.

Here's a recent video of Jason on his Gratitude Cafe tour.

Don't you think he looks a little bit too skinny and .. 'dried up'? Like he needs moisturiser or cream or something. The goatee doesn't help.

He looks tired too. Look at his eyes. I don't see the bright sparkly lights fully switched on.

Poor boy :(

Come let me give you a big hug.

Don't overwork yourself too much okay. Missing your blog posts. Your Ninja antics are hilarious!

The Sky is Yours!

*breaking news*

PEAS, JASON MRAZ SMASH CHART RECORDS

NEW YORK, Aug 20 — The Black Eyed Peas and Jason Mraz will shatter two records for longevity on the Billboard Hot 100 when the singles chart is released today.

With an eighth consecutive week at No. 1 for “I Gotta Feeling,” the Black Eyed Peas will have held the top slot for an unprecedented 20 straight weeks, having previously led the list for the preceding 12 frames with “Boom Boom Pow,” the lead single from its album “The E.N.D.”

Also entering the record books is singer-songwriter Mraz’s “I’m Yours,” which notches an extraordinary 70th week on the Hot 100. The track debuted on the May 3, 2008, chart and peaked at No. 6 nearly a year ago, on September 20, 2008. The song has resided within the top 40 of the list in all but the first 12 weeks of its chart life, dropping six rungs to No. 29 on the latest tally.

The Black Eyed Peas’ 20-week string atop the Hot 100 surpasses Usher’s run of 19 consecutive weeks achieved in 2004 with “Yeah!” and “Burn.”

On establishing the mark for longest successive stay at No. 1 in the Hot 100’s 51-year history, Peas member will.i.am commented, “With this kind of success your ego wants to take all the credit, but your heart reminds your soul that it was your heart that had you slaving and creating in the studio making the music; breaking through comfort zones and tradition. In the fight between heart and ego, my heart always wins.”

Fellow Pea Fergie added, “It’s an amazing feeling to know that these songs have connected with so many people who have kept them alive for so long.”

For Mraz, his never-say-die single overtakes the weeks-on-the-chart mark held for nearly 11 years by LeAnn Rimes’ signature hit “How Do I Live.” That ubiquitous track spent 69 weeks on the Hot 100, ending with the October 10, 1998, chart.

Multiformat airplay is one of the reasons for the staying power of “I’m Yours.” It’s the only track to reach No. 1 on each of the following four radio-based charts: Mainstream Top 40/Pop Songs, Adult Contemporary, Adult Top 40, and Triple A. It has also appeared on Latin Pop, Smooth Jazz, and debuts this week at Rhythmic.

Concerning the song’s multi-genre appeal and long shelf life, Mraz said, “I think it’s because it borrows from every one of those formats. Or perhaps the song is genre-less. The first two and a half minutes have so little production you could almost classify it as spoken-word. Yet it’s rhythmic and melodic at the same time.”

Aiding its continued presence on the Hot 100 is the fact that “I’m Yours” ranks as the third-best-selling digital song (4.4 million downloads) since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking download sales in 2003.

Only recently did Mraz begin to realize that “I’m Yours” was nearing unprecedented chart territory. “I found out about six weeks ago that the song was on its way to breaking this record. I was moved. ... I’m still blown away — humbled by the success of my happy little hippie song.” — Reuters

I'm Yours will always be special, no matter what, where, how long .... yupp J, it's my happy little hippie song!

Can Anybody Tell Me Where They're Teaching Short Term Memory?

Oh I have been inexcusably distracted that I haven't posted for a week!

Unforgiveable.

Okay, moving on...

Jason came to remind me that he existed as last night while reading online I happened to glance at the TV after hearing a very familiar voice.

It was our man Mraz 'acting' in this show American Dreams (from some years back) where he played Dion, singing Ruby Baby! It was just a snippet but enough to lure me to the box :)

For the life of me I do not know who Dion is nor have I ever watched the show, but I know now I must catch the repeat whenever it is. I thought Jason's hair looked really funny, all poufed up and slicked back. And the costume ... ha ha ha !

And JJ Hitz advised everyone to stay well, have enough vits and to chill out to some Mraz music today. Good advice in view of what's happening around us with the flu and haze and bad politics and toxic stuff like that.

Which I am doing now for the next few days I need a huge dose to make up for the few days that I have been away. His music feels so good. Makes my ears smile and my brain mellow.

By my own volition, it's my oxygen.

And hey, another me and J similarity! We both love Garfield! Wey hey... soul to soul my Mraz! And can someone tell me where I can get the banana carrying case? Can someone get that for me for Christmas please thank you very much.

I leave you now with Jason's loopy Cannabis College:

It's Supercool So Keep It Going, Alright?

He just cracks me up with this *LOL* Come on, show some ENTHUSIASM for the day!

His post today reveals he's been not too well lately.

Get well soon from that reflux thing, J. And thank you for sharing your one glass of voice with us through your blog.

Buckets of love.

The Measure of Love Will Never Ever Be Lost...!!

Am currently listening to 'On Love, In Sadness' from JM's Selections For Friends.

I am almost sure this video is for the same session at Villa Montalvo, July 2006, I maybe wrong.

A grainy video where some said he's stoned. Haha. So what.

Brilliant for a sing-along.

Is There A Doctor In The House?

In the mood for something mellow from my Mraz:

Hey J,

When are you coming back to Malaysia?

Soon?

Love,
A x

As you can see, I am suffering from a severe case of Mraziositis. Symptoms include, but are not limited to, tendency to break into Mraz songs, a compulsive need to watch Mraz on Youtube, singing along to Mraz songs, smiling to oneself when listening to his At Last cover, and saying 'something like that' at the end of sentences.

One may also develop a sudden liking to wear a straw fedora, and a taste for blended avocados.

The good thing is, it's not highly contagious. Not at all.

It's only for special people; those who geddit ;)

And Now Your Altitude and Memory's A Shame..

As usual, Jason's post is awesomely thought-provoking.

Soulmates. Which I wrote about recently in my personal journal. This telepathic thing is in place, I am no longer joking about it :)

I have wondered, if, in the Grand Ending of this world (if ever there is one in the Grand Scheme of Things), that all the Gods of all the religions turn out to be the same one, the One Almighty.

All religions start out with good intent, however in this convoluted world, we human beings have made things complicated.

Have you ever wondered how it was like during those cavemen times when the biggest worry was probably whether you're going to be eaten up by a T-Rex? They didn't have to worry about terrorism, crime (in today's sense of the word), global warming and so on. They probably also did not expect that evolution will take place, dinosaurs will be extinct, etc.

These days we worry, and we worry a lot.

We worry about rising temperatures due to global warming. We worry about depletion of natural resources and scramble to find alternative resources to replace them. We worry about warring nations and civil unrests. We worry about rising unemployment, economic downturns, layoffs and so on.

We brought this upon ourselves, yet it just seems too messy a tangle for it to be untangled any time soon.

Anyway, my rambling can go on and on. Jason's makes more sense.

So, share the message : Be Love.

p.s. Reminds me of the song : Love Is The Message in the early 90s. Who sang that?

I've Got Nothing But Love...

I've been wanting to post this so many times.

So today is the Day.

Have you actually read Jason's dedication and thank-you's in his album WSWDWST?

I did so sometime a little while back in May. It wasn't that easy to read (it's not J's handwriting by the way), so it took me some time to write it out, so I can treasure it for posterity.

Here goes:

"Max Gratitude to Martin Terefe for believing in this project from the start and into the celebration. Thanks for treating me as one of the kings. I wholeheartedly wish to thank Sam Riback for sharing the vision, encouraging the best songs, and holding down the fort while I went swimming. Thank you Bill Silva, Aya Taguchi, Ryan Chisolm, and everyone at BSM for the telescopic view that puts me in the centre of the universe. You always make me feel most awesome. Krazy thanks to Dyre Gormsen, Sacha Skarbek, Mike Dixon, Darling Nici, Kaptain Iain & the Kensaltown Kings; and to everyone likely standing at the K Bar right now. This rekord is yours. All my awe goes to Tony Maserati for the marvellous mix. He lives in outer space and I am jealous. Thanks for introducing me to a new super dynamic! God bless all the musicians and singers. Especially those who didn't get paid for playing all the stuff that doesn't appear on the album. I want to slap palms right now with Andy Karp, Craig Kallman, and everyone at Atlantic for watching my back. I love the love you give. Thank you Lyor Cohen, John Esposito, Julie Greenwald, Dane Venable, Mike Easterlin, Lina Tortella, Cindy Z, Jack Mc Morrow, Adam Abramson, Sheila Bachman, Camille Hackney, Jonathan Feldman, Torsten Luth, Rie Fujiwara, Max Lousada, Gregg Nadd, Kevin Wearer, Danielle Bond, Craig Rosen and Anne De Clemente. David Saslow, Brian Corona, Lany Alessandrini. I owe a great deal of groveling to the dancing feet of David Shrigley for his generous talent, devilish doodles and wise words. I'm happy to have stolen from you. Naked hugs for designer Greg Burke, photographer Bill Zelman, Style Counsel Brandy St John, and freestyler Tawney Bevacqua. Thank you Dan Wilson for being a mentor. Thank you Cat Bramhall for being honest, gracious and gentle. It was my pleasure loving and learning from Abigail Kornstein. Thanks be to Adam Aspelin and KUCD in Honolulu for checking out the Youtube love on 'I'm Yours' and sharing it with our friends in the islands. Mahalo. Also this record would not have been the same without love from David Davidson, Carlos Sosa and the horny horns, Chris Gehringer & Chris Athens at Sterling Sound, the Drunken Penguin - Andy Gerard, the Hot Rosie Scott, Billy Galewood, Noel Rivera, Jarrod Allen, Jennifer Sheridan, James Morrisson, Michael Blue, Colbie Caillat, Tim Fagan, Midwest Jessica Schroeder, Bob Schneider, Brett Dennan, Chris Keup, Roxanne & Mark Bowen, Rita Ora, Dawn Kinnard, Josie Taylor, Eric Hinojosa, Adam King, Ian Sheridan, Tricia Huffman, Jerry Lindahl & Robbie Robinson at Sounden Studios, Kevin Monahan, Mcflow, Raining Jane, Voicez of Prayze, Nick Caston, Tyler Huff & the Sand Diego Crispy Team, Holmes, our 2007 Thanksgiving Dinner guests and my loving family of course. And thanks be to Jonathan Adelman/Paradigm; Emma Banks & Randy Salcedo/CAA London. Nancy Chapman, Patty De Francesco, Teresa Polyak, Seth Lichtenstein, Galinda Braga, Sandy Miller, Jaret Gill, Phil Daniels, Bob Borbonus & Taylor Guitars. Your support gives my music the freedom of flight. And of course I've got nothing but love for the listener. Aloha.
WE SING. WE DANCE. WE THANK YOU. "

I LOVE the love you give :)
